These Terms of Use apply to arcelia.space, the Arcelia Discord community, and game servers operated by Arcelia. By visiting the website, joining the community, or using an Arcelia game server, you agree to these terms and the rules that apply to that service.
About Arcelia
Arcelia is a self-hosted gaming community. We operate the website and the game servers we make available to the community. Discord is operated by Discord Inc. and is a separate service. Your use of Discord is also subject to Discord's own terms and policies.
Community conduct
Arcelia is intended to be a welcoming place to play and talk. You must not use Arcelia services to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or target other people.
- Engage in hate speech, discrimination, sexual harassment, or unwanted sexual content.
- Share someone's private or identifying information without permission.
- Cheat, exploit bugs, evade bans, impersonate staff, or disrupt services.
- Send malware, scams, spam, or content intended to compromise another person's account or device.
- Break applicable law or encourage other people to do so.
Community and game-specific rules may add more detail. If a specific rule conflicts with these terms, the more specific rule applies to that service.
Game servers and moderation
Arcelia may moderate chats, player activity, builds, accounts, and other community activity to keep services safe and usable. Moderation may include warnings, content removal, temporary restrictions, permanent bans, resets, or other action.
We may act on reports, automated signals, staff observations, server records, or information shared with us by community members. We do not promise that every moderation decision will be correct or that every report will produce a particular result.
You may contact ruri@arcelia.space about a moderation decision or appeal. Appeals should include enough information for us to identify the relevant account or incident. We may decline appeals that are abusive, repetitive, or made in bad faith.
Your content
You keep ownership of content you create, including messages, screenshots, builds, and other submissions. By sharing content in an Arcelia service, you give Arcelia permission to store, display, reproduce, and moderate that content as needed to operate the service and community.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share your content. Do not share content that infringes another person's rights or violates these terms.
Security controls
Arcelia may use firewalls, anti-threat systems, anti-abuse controls, and anti-VPN or anti-proxy measures to protect services and the community. These systems may inspect connection metadata and security signals, and may automatically block or challenge connections that appear abusive, fraudulent, compromised, or otherwise risky. A connection may be blocked even when the decision is automated or mistaken.
Availability and changes
Services may be unavailable, changed, reset, or discontinued. Game worlds, progress, inventories, messages, and other data may be lost. We do not guarantee uptime, backups, compatibility, or that a particular feature will remain available.
We may update these terms, service rules, or community practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use Arcelia services after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Third-party services
Discord, Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang, game clients, hosting networks, and other third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, and technical limits. Arcelia does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, or data practices.
Disclaimer
Arcelia services are provided as available and without guarantees that they will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Arcelia is not responsible for indirect loss, lost progress, lost content, or other consequences resulting from your use of the services.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be limited.
